محمد عبده
Founder and perfumer · Maydi House
A Somali perfume designer whose compositions are inventive, with a classic character. He founded Maydi House in Mogadishu to carry Somali fragrance to the world.
The house believes perfume is an art before it is a product.
Mohamed Abdo trained in perfume design through courses in the craft.
He has created original fragrance compositions, collaborated with perfume houses across the Arab Gulf, and serves today as a fragrance innovation consultant.
At Maydi House he leads the Atelier, where brands come to him for a fragrance of their own, and he signs a private collection under his name.
